Estefany Velasquez

Estefany Velasquez is a first generation Honduran-American woman from Oakland, California. She intends to major in bioengineering and pursue research in neurotechnology innovation. Estefany is very passionate about social justice and representation for women of color in STEM. Outside of research, one of her favorite things to do is teach, whether in the classroom with middle school students in Oakland or facilitating inclusion conversations at institutions like Stanford!
