Melwin Cheng

Melwin is currently an undergraduate majoring in Bioengineering. He's part of the Rao Lab, where he's been working on antibody engineering for probing and targeting cancer. Hailing from Malaysia, he's just as passionate about infectious diseases endemic to tropical climates and healthcare equity as he is about hunting for good food spots. He hopes to have a fulfilling career as a scientific researcher as well as a public health expert, bridging the gap between research and innovation, commercialization, and public welfare, especially in underprivileged and marginalized communities.
