Giannka Picache

Giannka Picache is an undergraduate student studying mechanical engineering and materials science. Her research interests include 3D printing and robotics in various industries such as healthcare and conservation. Currently, Giannka is in the Skylar-Scott lab studying how to build a 3D printer capable of manufacturing a viable human heart! Previously, Giannka was at the DeSimone lab with 3D printing microneedles for vaccine delivery and at a metal 3D printing startup called 3DEO. When she's not tinkering with 3D printers or robots, Giannka enjoys figure skating, thrifting, and running.
